2019 Medina County Highway Department Hot Bituminous Plant Mixes Bid Bids are requested for suppliers of Hot Bituminous Plant Mixes to be purchased for random pavement repairs by the Medina County Highway Department through December 31, 2019. Bidders will be asked to submit bids on a price per ton basis, loaded by the supplier into county trucks or equipment at the suppliers yard. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of $100.00, conditioned that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, shall execute a contract in conformity to this notice and his bid. The proposal shall contain the documents listed below in the following order: 1. Notice of Bid 2. Instructions to Bidders 3. Supplemental Specifications 4. Non-Collusion Affidavit, Exhibit A 5. Personal Property Tax Verification Affidavit, Exhibit B 6. Independent Contractor's Indemnification Clause, Exhibit C 7. Contractor's Bid Blank Each bidder shall be required to file with his bid a Non-Collusion affidavit which is included in the bid package (Exhibit A). Contracts may be awarded to multiple suppliers for the purpose of availability and location. The Board of Medina County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
