Site work and new construction of a parking garage in West Union, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a parking garage.
Bids will be taken for the following Prime Contracts or combinations thereof, as described and shown in the Contract Documents: 1A - General Work & Labor 1B -Pre-Engineered Building 2A - Site Work 8A - Overhead Door 15A - Plumbing 15B - Mechanical 16A Electrical. Any and all Contractors intending to bid this project must attend this Pre-Bid Conference and purchase drawings and specs from the Architect in order for their bids to be considered by the Owner. Drawings will be distributed at the Pre-Bid Conference. Contractors should notify WDC Group via fax or email that they will be attending the Pre Bid and to reserve their set drawings and specifications. . Each bid shall contain the full name of each person and company interested therein and shall be accompanied by 1) a bid guaranty and contract bond in the full amount of the bid tendered or 2) a certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid tendered. Either of these shall serve as a guarantee that, if the award is made to the bidder, he will enter into a proper contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price upon execution of the contract. All such bonds, certified checks and cashier's checks shall be made payable to the Owner,Adams County Ohio Valley School District. No bid shall be considered unless made on the forms available at the office of the project Architect and in accordance with the Contract Documents which consist of all advertisements, instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings, bid form of contract agreement, bid and performance bond, schedule of wage rates, and all addenda thereto, all of which are available upon request. Should any bid be rejected, the Bid Bond will be returned forthwith to the bidder, and, should any bid be accepted, the Bid Bond will be returned upon proper execution of a contract agreement. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days minimum after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of the bids. The attention of bidders is called to statutory requirements of the State of Ohio relating to the licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state; signing of a Non-collusion Affidavit and Personal Property Statement and their return with the bid. The OWNER intends to accept the lowest and most responsible bids (bidders) for the project, and reserves the right to reject any and all or parts of any and all bids. The Owner will consider combination bids as part of determining the lowest most responsible bids. Contract Documents will be available at the Mandatory Pre Bid Conference. Bidders must purchase a set of contract documents from the Architect in order to bid the project. Each contractor must request from the Architect a set of contract documents desired to obtain prior to attending the Pre-Bid.
