Glen Ellyn Park District is accepting sealed bids for the Ackerman Park Improvements Project. All bids must be sealed and marked on the envelope: Bid Package #07 - Pathways and Trails Pre-qualification of all bidders in this bid group is required prior to the bid due date. All questions concerning this project or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to Craig Polte at 630-918-8120. Questions must be received in writing, or via email (cpolte@wightco.com), until 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2019. The competency, experience and responsibility of the bidders will be considered in making awards. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified or Bank Draft in the amount equal to not less than 10% of the bid and made payable to the Glen Ellyn Park District. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Glen Ellyn Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. 1) Plans and specifications can be viewed or downloaded electronically via Building Connected.
