The Base Contract will generally include the overlay of four Township roadways (38,000 SY/3,490 Ton). The Contract will also include 278 LF of concrete curb replacements, 2 EA Type C inlet top replacements, 1 VF inlet reconstruction, 7,405 SY pavement repair, 500 SY road widening, 10,650 SY full-width mill, 1,540 LF curbline/intersection/driveway milling, 280 GAL rubberized crack seal, 27,350 SY bituminous seal coat, 985 TON leveling/scratch course, the replacement of two traffic signal loops and the replacement of all pavement markings. Alternate/Add-On No. 1 will generally include the full-width mill and overlay of a portion of Morris Road (17,900 SY/1,610 TON). The work will also include 140 LF of concrete curb replacements, 6 EA inlet top replacements, 6 VF of inlet reconstruction, 1 EA sanitary sewer grade adjustment, 950 SY pavement repair, 300 TONS leveling/scratch course, 2 EA traffic signal loop replacements and the replacement of all pavement markings. Alternate/Add-On No. 2 will generally include pavement repairs along Cedar Hill Road and Anvil Drive (1,200 SY). Alternate/Add-On No. 3 will generally include the overlay of portions of Woodlyn Avenue at Valley Forge Road (3,005 SY/290 TON). The work will also include 1 EA inlet grade adjustment, 1,540 SY pavement repair, 20 GAL rubberized crack seal, 2,155 SY bituminous seal coat, 390 LF curbline/intersection/driveway milling, 40 TONS leveling/scratch course and the replacement of all pavement markings. Attachment #1 of PennDOT Proposal and Contract MS-944 (Page 3 to 3A-2), as well as the "Summary of Estimated Quantities" (Pages 3B-1 to 3B-3), contained in the Proposal and Contract Section of the Contract Documents, provides the quantities for each roadway. The "Instructions to Bidders" section describes the bidding requirements under this Contract. All work and materials shall be in accordance with PennDOT Standards and Specifications. This project is subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry and, therefore, must be bid as such.
