Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work for which bids are to be received consists of: Replacement of approximately 1,950 feet of 16", 8", 6" water mains with 16", 12", and 8" Ductile Iron and C-900 PVC mains, installation of all asso- ciated fittings, valves and appurtenances, connections to existing water mains, abandon existing water main, ser- vice connection extensions, chlorination taps, temporary blow-offs, concrete and brick sidewalk restoration, curb ramps, seal inlets and surface restoration. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing, and all appur- tenances necessary to com- plete the work shown in the Drawings and the Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method cho- sen. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is expect- ed to be funded by a State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, adminis- tered by the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA). The Contractor to whom the work is awarded shall comply with all requirements of said agencies. Where conflict exists between this specification and the federal agency specifications, the more stringent shall apply. Neither the United States nor any of its depart- ments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. This procedure will be subject to all requirements of said agencies. The SRF program has par- ticipation goals for minority (MBE), and women-owned (WBE) business enterpris- es. As this project is funded by the SRF, the Contractor is expected to comply with all applicable MBE/WBE participation requirements. The Contractor is required to show a positive effort for MBE/WBE solicitation. Courier Public Notices / Contractors and subcontrac- tors are required to pay in accordance with Davis-Bacon requirements. Wage rates on the project shall not be less than the federal wage scale published by the U.S. Depart- ment of Labor available on the day of bid. Information explaining other prevailing wage laws which apply to this work is also contained in these specifications. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
