**As of April 4, 2019, this project has been awarded to Northern Improvement Company for the amount of $4,587,594.70 Digital copies of the Bidding Documents are available for a download fee of $30.00 The project shall include a roundabout on Cass County 17, reconstruction of 76th Avenue - Adelmans Subdivision - storm sew, cement pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalks, lighting, HBP, pavement marking, seeding, hydromulch and other miscellaneous items. The project will consist of the following approximate quantities: 11,213 CY Common Excavation 26,666 CY Common Excavation Waste 13 Acres Seeding Class III 8,420 Tons Aggregate Surface Course Class 5 27,804 Tons Crushed Concrete 3,463 SY Sidewalk Concrete - 5 Inch Reinforced 22,848 SY 8" Non Reinforced Concrete Pavement 6,375 LF Concrete Storm Sewer Various Sizes 9,602 LF Curb & Gutter 16,784 LF Pavement Marking Paint Various 1 Each Lighting System Traffic Control and all miscellaneous work necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Each bid will be submitted on the basis of a cash payment for work. It will be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the above mentioned City Auditor and shall be designated that the bid is for "Storm Sewer and Street Improvement District No. 2019-2 (76th Avenue and Roundabout), Horace, North Dakota." The bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond in a separate envelope in the amount of five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety Company authorized to do business in North Dakota. If the Principal's bid is accepted by the City of Horace and the contract awarded, the principal, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award, will be required to execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of the principal's bid and any requirements and conditions of the Owner. A Contractor's Bond, as required by Section 48-01.2-10 of the North Dakota Century Code, shall be included with the executed Contract Documents. The Bid Security shall be as required in Section 48-01.2-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as required by Section 43-07-07 of the North Dakota Century Code and a copy of the license or certificate of renewal thereof issued shall be enclosed in the required bid bond envelope. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond, Licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The OWNER retains the right to reject any or all of the bids submit-ted and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold all bids for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from said date of opening and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from said date of bid opening. The work is to commence upon a date to be specified by the OWNER, notice of which will be given to the suc-cessful bidder ten (10) days in advance of the start of construc-tion. The Contractor will be required to commence construction, and in an approved sequence, complete all of the work for the project as noted below: Interim Substantial Completion - 8/17/2019 (County Road 17 and roundabout open to traffic.) Final Completion - 10/26/2019.
