Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Lake Worth, Florida. Design plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
This project will replace an old fire station that has reached the end of its useful life. Fire Station 43 is a three-bay, 5,486 square foot station, which houses a staff of six per day. A full review will be done to ensure that the current location is still the best location to rebuild this station. The primary users of this facility are the firefighters and paramedics assigned to this station. As of October 7, 2022, this project is currently in the Palm Beach County's FY 2022-2026 CIP. An architect has been selected for the project. Information regarding the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
