Site work for a water / sewer project in Henderson, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City has identified the need to replace approximately 1,600 linear feet of existing 6-inch Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) within the 2180 Pressure Zone in Sausalito Drive between Palo Verde Drive to Malibu Drive in Henderson, Nevada. The existing 6-inch ACP will be replaced with an 8-inch C-900 pipeline. The Sausalito Water Main Replacement is generally bordered by the Henderson Shopping Village to the southwest and residential apartments on the northeast. As part of the Project, all service connections, fire hydrant laterals, backflow prevention laterals, and all other pipeline apparatuses will be replaced. As part of this project, a new 8-inch service lateral with an 8-inch gate valve will be installed near the Smith's Supermarket for future secondary connection to the Henderson Shopping Village. Two sections of the sewer main will require installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) sectional liners for spot repairs.
