Site work for a water / sewer project in Addison, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The contract generally consists of the construction of a new 25,000 lineal-foot, mixed diameter HDPE sanitary force main along the NY-417 corridor between the existing Village of Addison Wastewater Treatment Facility, and a gravity manhole in the Town of Erwin's sanitary collection system. The work includes all associated force main air-release structures, appurtenances, pump equipment installation, stream and railroad crossings, and earthwork, along with other work specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings. Separate Bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope and clearly marked "Village of Addison - Phase II Wastewater Improvements" with the Contract being bid upon indicated, and must also bear the name and address of the bidder. If a bidder is bidding on multiple contracts, the bids must be submitted separately. M/WBE and Section 3 businesses are strongly encouraged to submit bids Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) goal of 23% (combined MBE and WBE) relative to supplies and subcontracting that are included in the bidding documents apply to this Project.
