The gravel shall meet state specifications of 3/4 inch surfacing gravel as outlined in section 882 of the SDDOT standard specifications for roads and bridges. The gravel bid should include rate per ton and any minimum charge if applicable. The successful bidders will be required to provide their own Liability and Workmen’s Compensation insurance. They will also have to be able to have the gravel applied to all the roads by a date to be determined by the Board of Supervisors. The Clear Lake Township Citizens and their Board of Supervisors reserve the right to reject any and all bids. They also reserve the right to accept a bid other than the lowest bid if it is in the best interest of the Township.Anyone submitting a bid is encouraged to be at the meeting when the bids are opened.
