Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids/proposals from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the solicitation. Scope of Work: Materials will be used by the Countys storm water, response and roadway maintenance crews for sidewalk repair and construction, curbs, gutters, roadways, bridges and other concrete work. Bid Bond: None PERIOD OF CONTRACT: Duration of the contract shall be for a period of sixty (60) months from the date of contract award. Pricing shall be held firm for the initial twelve (12) months of the contract. After the initial twelve (12) month term, and annually, thereafter, price adjustments (Decrease/Increase) in an amount not to exceed the average of the Producer Price Index (PPI) for Ready-Mix Concrete, Series Id: PCU327320327320C, Not Seasonally Adjusted, Area: South region, Base Date: 201212 based on the 12 months prior. It is the vendors responsibility to request any pricing adjustment under this provision. For any adjustment to commence on the first day of twelve-month term, the vendors request for adjustment should be submitted 3 months in advance of award date. The vendor adjustment request should not be in excess of the relevant pricing index change. If no adjustment request is received from the vendor, the County will assume the vendor has agreed that the extension term may be exercised without pricing adjustment. Any adjustment request received after 3 months prior may not be considered. Take special note of the lobbying clause in section a of each soliciation. By signing your submittal your firm agrees to adhere to pinellas county board of county commissioners rules in regards to lobbying.
