Site work and paving for a road / highway in Titusville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City seeks a licensed contractor to mill/resurface approximately 86 miles of paved roads. The awarded Contractor shall provide all labour, material and equipment necessary to perform the standard 1.5 inch thick mill and overlay of paved roads.Bidder shall be responsible for conducting a site assessment of road conditions and affected area to determine and ensure correct and necessary equipment for successful project completion prior to submitting of bid. All road work for this project must be completed by June 30, 2019. Firms interested in submitting a bid may obtain a complete bid package from the City's website.The bid package will be provided in electronic format as a pdf document upon request. The City reserves the right to make any changes to this bid, or to reject any and all, or parts of any and all bids, or to accept any bid or portion thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or postpone or cancel, at any time, this bid, or to re-solicit this bid, or to waive any irregularities in this bid or in the offers received as a result to this bid. The City also reserves the right to request clarification or information from any bidder. The City is not liable for any expenses incurred by any firm as a result of being a respondent to this solicitation. A one-year Maintenance Bond equal to 10% of the final contract amount will be required.
