Site work for a civil project in South Range, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Superior, Wisconsin is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Moonshine Road Wetland Mitigation Bank Project in Douglas County, Wisconsin. The purpose of this project is to re-establish wetlands on an existing hay field. The work under this project shall consist of the removal of material to create two borrow pit locations and using this material to construct multiple ditch checks across the 107-acre site. The remaining excess material will be used to construct two spoil pile areas. Additionally there will be native seeding and planting of trees, shrubs, and plugs, along with all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and within the specifications. All bids must be prepared on the form provided and submitted in accordance to the Instructions to Bidder. The contractor shall submit a list of his subcontractors as a part of his proposal, which list shall not be added to or altered without the written consent of the City of Superior, and as specified in 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes. The City of Superior encourages the participation of women and minority owned businesses. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
