This project is anticipated to start in September of this year and be completed in April of 2020. Estimated Project Value: $1,200,000 - $1,500,000. This project includes the rehabilitation of the existing Terminal Apron and a portion of Taxiway H which will include full depth reconstruction. Also, the existing stub Taxiways (A, B, and C) adjoining the Runways, adjacent to the apron, will be realigned to eliminate direct access to the Runway. The proposed project will include existing pavement removal, new asphalt pavement, apron/taxiway lighting, base drainage, signage, and pavement marking. Additionally, since the stub taxiways will be realigned, one of the stub taxiways will be removed and not replaced. Therefore, the taxiway naming configuration will be updated for the majority of the airport to account for this change. The only taxiways that do not change names is Taxiway G and F. With these changed multiple sign panels will require modifications. Several signs will be replaced and others will be updated from existing sign panels around the airfield. This alternate includes the use of thermoplastic markings in lieu of waterborne markings for the surface painted hold signs and the holdlines. Bids shall be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms in accordance with instructions contained in the Instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) Divisions of the Project Manual. Each bidder must deposit with his/her proposal a bid security in an amount equal to at least 10 (percent) of his/her Base Bid.
