In the event that regular daytime classes have been canceled at the time Bids are scheduled to be received, Bids will be received on the next business day at the same time. Bid Security shall be submitted with the Bid, in the form specified in the Instruction to Bidders, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates. The Project consists of removal of all the lockers on the 2nd floor and replacement with 500 +- new lockers in the same location, utilizing the existing bases. Contact the Printer in advance to order the documents or order on-line. Make checks payable to ARC Central. Documents may be picked up by bidders directly from the Printer. If delivery of the documents is requested, charges shall be paid by the Bidder directly to the Printer. The Owner will provide up to 8 sets of documents to the successful bidder.Additional sets may be purchased by the Contractor. Bid Forms will be the Request for Bid Form included in the Project Manual in section00 41 00. The Contractor Verification of Compliance Form and Attachments A-1 and A-2 are nincluded in the Project Manual in section 00 21 00. Bidders must submit completed form with the Request for Bid Form. Each Bidder shall review Minn. Stat 16C.285 to verify eligibility for consideration under the criteria established. Each bidder shall review the General Conditions of the Contract, request for Bid Form and Contractor Verification of Compliance form included in the project manual in section 00 21 00, to verify eligibility for consideration under the criteria established for this project. Pre-bid Conference doors will close at the above start time, as indicated by a clock at the designated meeting location. Late prospective bidders will not be allowed to sign-in on the attendance form, but may stay and observe the meeting. Prospective bidders will be required to sign-in and sign-out on the attendance form and a list of the prospective bidders will be included in an Addendum. Only those organizations listed in the addendum are eligible to submit a bid. The Owner intends to award the Contract on April 23, 2019. Minnesota Prevailing Wage statutes apply to this Work. Bidder is responsible for obtaining schedule of prevailing wage rates currently in effect and complying with these wage rates.
