Bids being mailed for this work via the U.S. Postal Service or shipped via a parcel delivery service should be addressed to Alex Smith, 207 S. Thirteenth Avenue, Humboldt, Tennessee 38343, and each bidder shall be responsible for their delivery by the above noted time. Bids delivered using the U.S. Postal Service or a parcel delivery service must be labeled on the envelope used for shipping "Bid Enclosed" and an inside sealed envelope with all required information described hereinafter listed on its exterior shall be utilized to package the Bid. The work is in one Contract and includes the following general items of work: One municipal water supply well One water-lubricated vertical turbine well pump and appurtenances All associated electrical work Start-up and testing as described in the Detailed Specifications and shown on the Plans. The allotted time for construction for this contract is 60 calendar days. Liquidated damages are 500 dollars ($500.00) per calendar day.
