This Project Shall Consist of Furnishing Labor, Equipment, Materials and Work Necessary in the Construction of the Following Items of Work: Painting of the 1,000,000 Gallon Standpipe Sunnyslope Water Tower Including Full Exterior and Wet Interior Abrasive Blast Cleaning and Recoat (With a Containment System for Exterior), Partial Dry Interior Abrasive Blast Cleaning and Recoat, and Miscellaneous Structural Repairs and Modifications. Replacement of the Fill Pipe for the 250,000 Gallon Spheriod Hospital Water Tower Along With Modifications to the Overflow Discharge Pipe and Access Tube Air Gap Seal. The Proposal Form Furnished by the City Shall Be Properly Executed by the Bidder. Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check Payable to the City of Brookfield Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Largest Possible Total Bid or Bids, Including Consideration of Alternates. The Successful Bidder's Failure to Execute the Contract and Furnish the Performance Bond Within Ten (10) Days After the Award Shall Cause the Check or Bid Bond to Be Forfeited to the City as Liquidated Damages (Section 62.15(3), Wisconsin Statutes). The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Minor Informality or Irregularity in Bids Received. All Proposals Shall Remain Firm and May Not Be Withdrawn for a Period of Ninety (90) Days After the Opening Date
