As of June 6, 2019, a general contractor was awarded. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents to construct for the above stated project.The general items of work include Roadway rehabilitation of the Meadowview Loop which consists of Via Norte and Del Rey Road in the City of Temecula. Avenida Barca from Del Rey Road to Margarita Road is also included in the project. The roadway rehabilitation shall generally consist of the installation of asphalt concrete leveling course, a chip seal with asphalt rubber and aggregate membrane (ARAM), and rubberized type II slurry. The project also included the removal and replacement of roadway striping as well the as needed removal and replacement of asphalt or concrete curb and gutter. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, accept or reject alternates, and waive irregularities or informalities in the bid and bidding.The award of the Contract, if it be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with the requirements prescribed.All bids will be compared on the basis of the Engineer's estimate of the quantities of work to be done.Electronic bids must be received no later than the date and time specified above. Documents must be uploaded in PDF format. It is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure their bid documents are properly uploaded onto the City's online bid management system . Bids that are missing pages, cannot be opened, etc. may be considered unresponsive.
