Site work and paving for a road / highway in Auburn, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 31, 2019 the project has been awarded to Knife River Construction for $4,040,782.37. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: 1. Roadway widening and rehabilitation of Combie Road from State Route 49 to approximately 350' west of Cascade Crossing 2. Curb, gutter and sidewalk improvements 3. New separated Class 1 bicycle route and sidewalk along the north side of Combie Road between Higgins Road and Magnolia Road 4. New signalized intersection on Combie Road at Higgins Road 5. Signal modifications of the intersection of Combie Road and State Route 49 6. Street lighting along the north side of Combie Road within the project limits 7. Excavation/backfill for the placement of new sanitary sewer force main and associated facilities 8. Excavation/backfill for the placement of drainage improvements and new drainage facilities 9. Thermoplastic striping and markings, signage and other incidental work 10. Pavement and landscape restoration not limited to road repair, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and handicap ramps.
