Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Largo, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Pre-qualification of Bidder: Awards of bids for construction services with an engineering estimate in excess of $100,000 will only be made to Bidders who have pre-qualified with Pinellas County for Bascule Bridge or Bridge Repair type construction, or those that are pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Bascule Bridge Rehabilitation prequalification, in the amount that equals or exceeds their bid. Only those bids from Bidders that meet the pre-qualification requirements from either Pinellas County or FDOT prior to a bid opening will be considered. Work consists of rehabilitating electrical, mechanical and structural movable bridge components which are obsolete or inadequate.
