Description

Renovation of a medical facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

For Refurbishment of Dual Duct Air Handling Units at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital for Harris County Provide material and labor to refurbish existing 17 (seventeen) of 18 (eighteen), dual duct Air Handling Units serving to LBJ Hospital. Refurbished units will have new supply and return fans, new pre and final filter racks, new pre-heat coils, new chilled water coils, new steam humidifiers (AHU-3 and AHU-17), new casing insulation, new interior panels, and new condensate drain pans. Existing units AHU-1 to AHU 18 (excluding AHU-7) are currently in service and at the end of their service life. Provide material and labor to upgrade pneumatic control field devices for 18 (eighteen) Air Handling Units and utilize them with digital control filed devices. Four (4) Temporary units to be utilized during construction in order to provide air conditioning to the areas served by units that are being worked on. Temporary unit controls to be tied into existing building global controller. Necessary programming and front end updates to be provided to control system to control temporary units similar fashion as the existing permanent units.
