A bid bond of 5% of the project cost is required and must accompany each proposal. Bids must be held firm for 60 days beyond the bid opening date. The successful bidder must file a 100% Performance Bond, a 100% Labor & Materials Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance with the Purchasing Agent within 10 days of notice of bid award. The minimum rates to be paid labor of the various classifications on this project shall be in accordance with current schedule of Prevailing Wages as established by the State of Connecticut, Department of Labor, Wage and Workplace Standards.
