Mays Landing, NJ 08330 Joseph Shaner Elementary School 5801 Third St. Mays Landing, NJ 08330 GOALS FOR THIS CONTRACT Except as provided in this Bulletin, this contract includes a goal of awarding twenty-five (25) percent of the total contract value to either Prime or Subcontractors that qualify as small businesses as defined in N.J.A.C, 17:14-2.1 and small businesses with revenues that do not exceed the annual revenue standards established by the Federal standard at 13 C.F.R. 121.201.Aspirations shall be made to allocate a portion ofthe twenty-five (25) percent value in accordance with the following ethnic goals: African American 6.3% and Asian American 4.34% Any questions or requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing to Christopher Becica at cbecica@dcoenergy.com no later than 12:00pm on April 10, 2019. The bid documents have been prepared by SES LLC, with an office at 5429 Harding Highway, Building 500, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Telephone number 866-614-6575 Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders". Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. the "Public Schools Contracts Law." This project is subject to the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 et seq. Per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44(b) all contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award. "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act", N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. (P.L. 199, c.238) requires bidders and their subcontractors to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and to possess a current certificate by said Department indicating compliance with the Act prior to the time and date that bids are received. All bidders must comply with the requirements Laws Against Discrimination N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq., Affirmative Action Regulations, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L. 1975, c.127), N.J.S.A. 17:27-1.1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 6A:7-1.8. An Initial Project Workforce Report will be required from the successful bidder (Form AA-201). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and satisfactory in form, execution and sufficiency of surety. Refer to Section B - Instructions to Bidders for additional information. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any minor informality in the bidding in accordance with applicable law.
