Site work for a road / highway in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the N. Boulevard over CSX Expansion Joint Replacement project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to removal and replacement of the transverse expansion joints The project is for a period of 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Except in an emergency, all bids for construction Contracts in excess of $100,000 shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Such security may be a certified check or a cashier's check or a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner. For contracts with a value exceeding one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), the Contractor shall deliver to the Owner or its designated representative a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each fully executed by the Contractor and one or more surety companies legally licensed to do business in Virginia and each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. The City of Richmond also reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the City of Richmond to be in its best interest.
