**As of May 14, 2019, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet established.** Request for Qualifications: Construction Management at Risk Services at Excel Academy Charter School - Bremen MS. CMR services for construction of new, 19,500 sq. ft., three-story facility on an urban site in East Boston; 12-month construction duration. This RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. c. 149A. Excel is pre-qualifying firms interested in providing public CM at Risk Services. Contractor Qualification:DCAMM Certificate Construction is scheduled to start in July 2019. Total completion is required by mid-July 2020, Excel Academy Charter School plans to construct a new, 19,500 SF school building on an 23,000 SF site to accommodate a planned middle school enrollment of approximately 224 students. The site is located adjacent to its existing high school at 401 Bremen Street. The program will include classrooms, community circle gathering, break out rooms, administrative offices, other educational spaces, and a small child day care space for the children offaculty and staff. Site work will include parking and circulation, regrading, new water and sewer services, stormwater management structures, electrical and gas services, and landscape areas.
