Kirby St. & Benton St. - Water and Sewer Main Replacement - Bid 0691-19, for the City of Garland, Texas, hereinafter called "City" in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract documents adopted by the City Council of the City of Garland, Texas, prepared by the Engineering Department, and which may be obtained from the Purchasing Agent of the City of Garland, Texas, City Hall, Garland, Texas All questions concerning the project related to the plans or the Pre-bidders conference shall be submitted through the Question/Answer segment located in the Ionwave website. The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00PM 12th APRIL, 2019. Bids shall be accompanied with a Bid Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable with recourse to the City of Garland, from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. All contracts less than $50,000.00 (fifty thousand dollars) will not require Performance, Payment or Maintenance Bonds. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council as the interest of the City may require to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.
