Renovation of a water / sewer project in Geneseo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Construction, installation, and setting-to-work of an external stand-alone gravity-flow ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system to treat effluent discharge from the wastewater treatment plant to meet specified standards. The UV installation will include all equipment, civil works, velocity flow meter system, site piping, electrical services, controls, testing and commissioning, fabrication, and accessory equipment necessary to provide a fully-functioning system. Project includes structural concrete and wood pole cover construction. Separate sealed Bids will be received for: Contract No. 1 - Contract #1: General; Contract No. 2 - Contract #2: Electrical; Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: MRB Group The Culver Road Armory 145 Culver Road Suite 160 Rochester, New York 14620. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Village of Geneseo, 119 Main Street, Geneseo, New York 14454 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM; at plan rooms, or electronic through internet based construction information subscription services. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete, and are not valid for bidding purposes. Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above, plus a separate non-refundable shipping charge of $20 payable to the Issuing Office, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. In lieu of the shipping charge, prospective bidders may pick up Bidding Documents themselves at the Issuing Office, or they may ask to have the documents shipped on their own account number. Prospective bidders having Bidding Documents shipped on their own account number must provide their account number, desired method of shipping (overnight, next afternoon, etc.) and a statement permitting the Issuing Office to use their account number to ship documents to them. Requests for Bidding Documents that are not accompanied by the required letter will be returned. When requesting Bidding Documents, prospective bidders must include a letter stating their name, firm's name, shipping address (no P.O. Box numbers), telephone number, email address, fax number (if any), name of project for which they are requesting Bidding Documents, intended contract, amount of money enclosed, and, if applicable, check numbers. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Village of Geneseo nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Village of Geneseo, Livingston County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract. The Village of Geneseo does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs and activities.
