Scope Of Work to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of the construction of the shelter and restroom facility at Common Ground Park, a one-of-a-kind inclusive park facility for people of all abilities. Work in Phase 2A includes the construction of the building including, mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades, and concrete surrounding the facility. The City of Mason reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Mason reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. Contract Documents, on file in the City Engineers Office, 6000 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Please allow approximately 4 hours from the time your order is placed for reproduction. Last Time for Questions to be taken from Contractors is 4:30 PM, Thursday, April 25th, 2019. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders Must Comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Warren County and the City of Mason, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
