As of May 21, 2019 the project is not yet awarded. It is expected to be awarded on evening of May 21, 2019. The Project consists of site work, concrete, masonry work, building-architectural work, instrumentation, control and monitoring systems, electrical work, pumping equipment and mechanical piping systems, emergency generator and all required appurtenances. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at plan holding sites and websites indicted in Section 00200 Instructions to Bidders; the office of The Town of Moorefield, 206 Winchester Avenue, Moorefield, WV 26836, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM; and the office of the Engineer, Gwin, Dobson & Foreman, Inc., Engineers, 3121 Fairway Drive, Altoona, PA 16602, Contact Person: Christopher M. Eckenrode, P.E., Email: ceckenrode@gdfengineers.com. on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Gwin, Dobson & Foreman, Inc., Engineers". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bidding documents must be obtained directly from the issuing office by the bidder for a bid to be considered. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials.
