A bid bond payable to the Colbert County Board of Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bid. Bids must be delivered sealed and labeled "CHHS AIR UNIT BID" on the outside of the envelope. Bidders must adhere to the attached memo regarding E-Verify. (Alabama Immigration. Law) This replacement project shall be a turn key job. All tear out and replacement shall be completed by the awarded bidder. The old existing 10 Ton unit will be replaced with a new unit. Demo of the old unit, piping and electrical will be required and also replaced. The old unit and parts shall be removed from the job site by the awarded bidder. New unit and condensing unit will be installed with same unit that currently exist or replaced with equivalent unit. Current thermostat shall remain to control new unit which has been provided by Schneider Electric and is part of energy monitoring system. Awarded bidder must provide a one (1) year warranty on labor, three (3) years on parts and five (5) years on water coil and compressor. Warranty begins on total job completion date. The Colbert County Board of Education expressly reserves the right to reject any, and or all bids.
