The City of Greater Sudbury ("City") is issuing a Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) ENG19-7 for Various Watermain Improvement Projects. The intent of the RFPQ is to prequalify General Contractors to develop a Prequalification List, who will be eligible to Bid on Various Watermain Improvement Projects Procuring Entity Contact Information: The City of Greater Sudbury, c/o Purchasing Section, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury, ON, P3E 3L9 (address of the "City's Purchasing Section" referenced in this Notice). Email: tenders@greatersudbury.ca The City shall not be responsible for any notices and/or related prequalification not accessed directly from the City. The City will be soliciting responses from prequalified Contractors for Watermain Improvement Projects in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Contract pursuant to the future Bid Solicitation. The work will involve, but not be limited to, installation of new watermains, waterservices and appurtenances, sewer spot repairs, roadway resurfacing, restoration and Interior plumbing conversion of residential homes. Respondents must not be banned from bidding on City contracts at the Closing Date and Time. This procurement is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The Prequalification List will be valid for the 2109 calendar year, and further requests for prequalifications will not be issued. The final Tenders identified under this RFPQ will be provided only to the prequalified Bidders from this prequalification process. Request for Prequalification, followed by Request for Tender.
