Reference Number : 1255275 Construction of a new traffic light at the intersection of Bethany Avenue Bethany and Boulevard Cristini The City of Lachute is requesting bids for the construction of a new traffic light at the intersection of Bethany Avenue and Cristini Boulevard. The bids must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days and be accompanied by a bid security bond issued by an insurance company in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the value of the bid, as well as a letter of intent for the issuance of a performance bond and a bond guaranteeing the labor, materials and services, each for a value of fifty percent (50%) of the value of the bid. Only bonds issued by insurance companies holding an insurer's license in Canada and recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec will be accepted under the tender documents. The bidding contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid.
