Paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in O Fallon, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: The project will construct right turn lanes along westbound Highway 50 and southbound Old Collinsville Road. Work includes curb and gutter, pavement widening and traffic signal modifications. Existing Conditions: The existing intersection has designated right turn lanes on the west and south legs of the intersection. Project Goals: To improve the congestion at the intersection. Funding Source: Motor Fuel Tax - 16 As of June 3, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023.
