Site work for a water / sewer project in Harrington, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the abandonment and installation of approximately 8,400 linear feet of 8 and 10 water mains, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances, and site restoration. This project is jointly funded by the City of Harrington, State of Delaware Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, and USDA Rural Utilities Service Program. Bidders must comply with the following: i. The President s Executive Order No. 11246 which prohibits discrim- ination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. ii. Delaware State Revolving Fund Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. iii. Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions iv. Federal Davis Bacon wage rate provisions. The bid opening at City Hall will occur in compliance with the Governor s State of Emergency restrictions (i.e. proper spacing, City building policies), assuming they are still in place at this time. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. RFI s must be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM December 17, 2021 to christine.hinton@kci.com. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right, as the interest of the City of Harrington may appear, to reject any and all BIDS, to waive any informality or irregularity in the BIDS received, to accept or reject any items of any BID, and to adjust the estimated quantities listed at their sole discretion.
