Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Isle Saint George, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The work consists of: 1. Airfield Improvements, Base Bid Estimate - $2,187,000. The Project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing runway via full depth reclamation and miscellaneous clearing and grubbing. 2. Airfield Improvements, Additive Alternate No. 1- $170,000. The additive alternate consists of using a barge to mobilize project equipment and materials. A Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Bid, including any additive alternative proposals made by the Contractor. 2. Acertified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit from a FDIC bank in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid, including any additive alternative proposals made by the Contractor. As soon as the Bid prices have been compared, the Owner will return the Bid guaranty of all except the three lowest responsible Bidders. When an Agreement is executed, the Bid guaranty of the two remaining unsuccessful Bidders will be returned. If the Bid guaranty is (b) above, it will be returned to the successful Bidder upon the completion and acceptance of a Performance Bond.Each Bidder is individually responsible for the careful examination of the site of the proposed Work, the Proposal, Plans, General Provisions, Special Conditions, Technical and Supplemental Specifications, Contract Forms and all requirements of the project. The failure or omission by any Bidder to do so shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its bid. The Put In Bay Port Authority reserves the following rights: to accept or reject any or all bids; and to award the Contract to the most responsive and responsible Bidder whose bid is determined by the Owner to be in its best interest.
