Bids must be made on the blank form provided in the Contract Documents, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to Dean Lail, Purchasing Agent, County of Iredell, 200 S. Center Street, Statesville, NC 28677 (if delivered in person, courier or sent via UPS/FedEx. If sent via USPS, the address is PO Box 788, Statesville, NC 28687. The name and address and Licensing Number of the Bidder must be plainly marked on the outside of each envelope. Also on the outside of sealed bids, the envelope must be plainly marked "Municipal Solid Waste Landfill - Phase 6, Ceils 1 & 2" AWARD OF CONTRACT - lowest responsive Bidder in accordance with the General Statutes of North Carolina, Article 8, Chapter 143-129. Owner reserves the right to reject all Proposals of Bidders for any Phase of the Project and may waive any minor defects or informalities at his discretion. The goals for participation by minority firms as subcontractors on this project have been set at 10%.
