Solicitation No- 28-90-00-00-8-155-004 Contract 1 - Exterior Masonry Repairs The Contract Documents, including all Drawings and Specifications, may be examined and obtained between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, at the Nassau BOCES Business Services Department, Purchasing and Materials Program, George Farber Administrative Center located at 71 Clinton Road, Garden City, New York 11530. Non-bidders shall receive partial reimbursement, in an amount equal to the amount of the deposit, less the actual cost of reproduction of the documents if the set is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. Deposits will not be refunded unless the original receipt issued by Nassau BOCES is presented at the time of return. Any person or corporation proposing to submit a bid must take out a minimum of one (1) set of plans and specifications. Bids must be made in the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications that must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to: NASSAU BOCES and clearly marked on the outside: Bid #19/20-017. Bids must be received by Nassau BOCES prior to the time indicated for bid opening. Bidders wishing to mail their bids may send it to the address listed above. Each bidder must deposit with his or her bid, a "Bid Bond" or certified check made payable to NASSAU BOCES, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the of the total amount of the bid. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Nassau Boces Bidders deposit will be refunded if the set is returned in good condition within thrity (30) days following the award of the contract or rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder or the proposals will be rejected within 45 days of the date of opening proposals, subject however, to the discretionary right reserved by Nassau BOCES to waive any or all proposals and to advertise for new proposals if, in its opinion, the best interest of Nassau BOCES will thereby be promoted. No bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 45 days after the formal opening thereof. All BFI's are due by, Friday, May 3, 2019.
