The City of Fayetteville is accepting bids from qualified and experienced trail design and construction professionals interested in providing 1 1/4 miles of new trail construction at Kessler Mountain Regional Park in southwest Fayetteville as described in the specifications and as shown on the attached plans. All vendors intending on bidding SHALL register as a plan holder by notifying Les McGaugh, via e-mail. When registering as a plan holder, vendors shall submit primary contact information including name of contractor, primary contact, phone number, fax number, and physical address. FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A PLAN HOLDER CAN RESULT IN YOUR BID BEING REJECTED. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashiers check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded. All interested parties shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the project is located. In addition, qualifications require that all bidders shall have comparable and demonstrated experience matching Professional Trailbuilders Association (PTBA) criteria for new members.
