Renovation of a mixed-use development in Port Isabel, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The City of Port Isabel, Texas will receive bids for: Improvements to Washington Park (Pre-Engineered Metal Building and Foundation) All proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier or certified check upon a national or state bank in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to Owner or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a contract within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. (The notice of award of contract shall be given by the Owner within thirty (30) days following the opening of bids. The bid security must be enclosed in the same envelope with the bid. Bids without check or bid bond will not be considered.) City of Port Isabel reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities in the bidding or to accept the bid to the best and most advantageous to the city. Bids may be held by City of Port Isabel for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
