The project scope includes, but is not limited to, replacement of two (2) existing dry-pit submersible pumps with two (2) horizontal self-priming pumps installed on a new concrete slab to be constructed above the existing dry-pit finished floor; construction of an extension of the top of the dry-pit walls above the base flood elevation; construction of a sump pump pit with sump pumps and discharge piping and valves within the dry-pit; replacement of the wet well manhole frame and cover, wet well vents, and dry-pit access ladder; demolition of the dry-pit top slab and access hatch and installation of safety grating over the dry-pit; 10-inch (10") diameter DIP force main piping from the new pumps to the existing force main piping; demolition and replacement of suction and discharge piping; header piping; associated valves, fittings and accessories; protective coatings; temporary bypass pumping system; replacement of chain link fencing; demolition and replacement of the lift station electrical service rack, control panel and terminal boxes, and level control equipment, including associated wires, conduits and electrical equipment; lighting; and all other associated electrical and site work specified or shown in the construction drawings and contract documents for a complete and operational system.
