Renovation of a fire / police facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of July 7, 2023, the project has been awarded and construction is expected to be completed in August, 2023, however, the current status of construction and an exact timeline have not been confirmed. Edina Fire Station #1 Renovation and HVAC Update at 6250 Tracy Ave, Edina MN 55436. This project is a basement remodel and HVAC upgrade of an existing 3 story fire station built in 2007. Work includes remodeling/finishing sections of the basement, cutting out existing precast slab and adding new concrete filled pan stair. Adding a new bathroom and showers and the associated demo of numerous areas of concrete slab cutting and removal for new MEP components. All mechanical and electrical for support of the remodel is part of the scope of work including upgrades of HVAC systems for the entire building. The work shall consist of furnishing labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete design and specifications provided for project by Oertel Architects. Questions are due by December 15th by 11:00 AM *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time. Interested subcontractors should contact the general contractor directly for more information.
