Site work for a road / highway in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The purpose of this Design/Build is to identify the most qualified Design/Build Team, through a structured, open and competitive process, to work with TRCA, and its staff. The scope of work will include, but is not necessarily limited to, development of a slope stabilization design, supply of labour, material, engineering support, testing, supervision, and equipment required to construct the slope stabilization solution as per the design drawing set provided by the design-build team. The project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following components: - Development of a detailed design drawing based on the stipulations shown on the constraints drawing and supplemental investigation reports. The design must demonstrate a permanent solution that provides long term protection to the structures identified to be at risk using a Factor of Safety of 1.3. The design must satisfy the requirements of all pertinent regulating agencies that govern the project area including, but not limited to: TRCA, the City of Toronto, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry, and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. - Provide Quality (QVE) stamp on all submissions - All required Material testing - Construction of the detailed design solution within the limits of the Constraints Drawing - Determination of a construction timeline and coordination of all construction activities - Installation of site security and perimeter fencing - Installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control (ESC) measures including along access route and staging area(s) to protect natural areas - Tree removal/protection/hoarding - Clearing and grubbing - Removal and proper offsite disposal of generated excess fill material - Establishment of an access route into the construction zone - Development and implementation of a Traffic Protection Plan as per O.Reg. 213/91 - Interim site restoration including installation of topsoil, Terraseeding, and erosion control blankets - Post-construction site restoration, including the access route Anticipated Award Date: February 25, 2022 Question Deadline: 12/23/2021 04:00:00 PM ET
