Renovation of a mixed-use development in Queensbury, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of December 10,2019 project was awarded to the lowest bidder which is H.T. Lyons Halfmoon, NY amount of $962,300.00 . Start and completion date was not yet determine. The Town Of Queensbury is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to implement HVAC upgrades at the Town Hall and Activity Center buildings. The selected contractor will furnish all work, labor, materials, equipment and tools in connection with the upgrade project. The scope of work for the project is summarized below: Town Hall Building Upgrade the HVAC system on the first floor and basement floor to a VRF. Replace old oil-fired boiler with a new condensing boiler Replace the existing pneumatic control with a DDC system. Replace the existing cooling tower which serves the water source heat pumps in the new addition of the Town Hall building. Provide a new gas connection from the remote gas meter. Provide related electrical work to accommodate the HVAC upgrade. Remove underground oil tanks Remove and dispose of all asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in the project work areas. Activity Center Building Official Start of Project January 6th 2020 Replace oil-fired boiler with a new condensing boiler Replace the existing pneumatic control with a DDC system. The Queensbury Town Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bids, and to reject any or all bids. Final determination will be made by the Town Board at the regular meeting on or about 3 June 2019. The successful bidder will be notified following the regular Town Board meeting.
