The work consists of reconstruction of S Ohio Ave from the intersection of 5 th Street to 7th Street and N Ohio Ave from Main Street to the railroad crossing. Tasks include: Demolition, Earthwork, Grading, Storm Sewer, Paving, Concrete Sidewalk, ADA Ramps, Signage, Pavement Marking, Traffic Control, Erosion Control, Street Lighting, and Traffic Signals. Prime contractors must be pre-qualified with MoDOT or have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least seven (7) days prior to the bid opening date. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, as set out in the wage order attached to and made part of the specification for work under the contract, shall be paid to all workers performing work under the contract. A bidders bond for the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid made payable to the City of Sedalia must accompany each proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities in the bids. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after date of bid opening.
