Manual Academy Track Rehabilitation; 811 S. Griswold Street; Peoria, Illinois 61605 freight prepaid and Richwoods High School Track Rehabilitation; 6301 North University Street; Peoria, Illinois 61614 freight prepaid. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 80 calendar days from due date. It is anticipated the Board of Education will be acting on the bid Monday, May 20th, 2019. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful Bidders will be returned as soon as practical, after opening and checking the bids. Commencement of the work at Manual Academy may begin as early as May 30th, 2019 pending the contractors submittal of an executed contract along with the submittal of the required insurance certificate(s), bond(s), and any other miscellaneous documents.The School District may elect to delay issuing the Notice to Proceed until July 1st, 2019. The work at Manual Academy shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days from when the Notice to Proceed is issued or on or before October 28th, 2019 whichever occurs first. Commencement of the work at Richwoods High School may begin as early as May 30th, 2019 pending the contractor s submittal of an executed contract along with the submittal of the required insurance certificate(s), bond(s), and any other miscellaneous documents. The School District may elect to delay issuing the Notice to Proceed until July 1st, 2019. The work at Richwoods High School shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days from when the Notice to Proceed is issued or on or before October 28th, 2019 whichever occurs first. The Bid documents will also include an alternate to substantially complete the work at Richwoods High School on or before August 14th, 2019 with work possibly commencing as early as May 30th, 2019 pending the contractors submittal of an executed contract along with the submittal of the required insurance certificate(s), bond(s), and any other miscellaneous documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. All bidders shall comply with Peoria School District N. 150 Facilities Improvement Agreement entered into between Peoria Public Schools and the West Central Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council.
