The Work of this Section consists affecting the necessary repairs to the existing basketball court surfaces, as indicated on the Contract Documents and as specified herein. B.The Contractor is responsible for reviewing the existing conditions of the outdoor basketball courts. The courts exhibit various surface and structural imperfections that shall be addressed under this item of work. Observed cracking includes cracks less than lA" wide as well as cracks greater than !4" in width that vary in width up to 1-1/2" wide. C. The scope of work is three-fold and shall consist of 1) a thorough inspection of the exiting outdoor court(s) by an authorized Sport Surfacing Contractor 2) crack repair and the preparation of the existing surface and 3) the application of the new acrylic sealer and surface color material, including court lines. D. The work involved in the following specifications must be performed in a safe and workmanlike manner by a Contractor possessing suitable professional qualifications as submitted and as approved under Project Owner's criteria as set forth herein. E. The Contractor and workers who will complete the designated work shall be well aquatinted with the requirements of the scope of work, be competent in their trade, and have sufficient experience to properly perform this work. Qualified supervision shall be on the job site during all working hours.
