Site work for a road / highway in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Work under this item shall consist of producing and furnishing hot mix asphalt composed of mineral aggregate and asphalt binder, mixed in a central mixing plant and placed on a prepared course in accordance with these specifications and conformance to the lines, grades, thickness and typical cross sections shown on the plans or as directed by the Engineer. Each course shall be constructed to the depth, typical section, or elevation required by the contract and/or plans and shall be rolled, finished, and approved before the placement of the next course. Each course shall be placed to a smooth, dense, and uniform appearance.
