As of January 13,2020 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work in this contract consists of but is not limited to: constructing a new 5 million gallon (MG) lagoon, yard piping and appurtenances, grading, road and stormwater improvements, associated electrical and instrumentation work, and other work listed in the Bidding Documents. Sealed proposals and MWBE Good Faith Efforts must be submitted on the blank forms provided and as specified in the bound copies of the contract documents. The bid shall be enclosed in two different sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. Danny Hawk, Engineering Division, 300 West Washington Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. The outside of each envelope shall be plainly marked with the Project Name; Contract Number; the name, address and license number of the Bidder; and with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" and the other envelope with the MWBE participation noted as "MWBE GOOD FAITH EFFORTS". The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids or to award such contract as in its judgment is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. We are soliciting subcontract bids for the following trades: Pipe Work, Earthwork, Electrical, Clearing & Grubbing, Erosion Control, Quality Control, Utilities, HDPE Liner. Seeding, Mulching, Piping & Valves, Instrumentation, Hauling, Precast Concrete, Landscaping, and Excavation & Other Incidental Items Necessary for Construction to complete the project.
