The work under this contract consists generally of furnishing and installing folding and flexible membrane flood barrier assemblies; furnishing and installing concrete flood walls and related foundations; repair of granite block and concrete; replacement of wall and ceiling tiles; removal of salt residue; replacement of low-voltage and medium voltage cables and fiber optic cables; replacement of pump room equipment and fire detection suppression system components and elevator components; and related work at the Holland Tunnel, including ventilation buildings, pump rooms, approach ramps, and the vicinities thereof in New York and New Jersey. This project may be Federally funded in whole or in part. That the bidding entity has a minimum of ten (10) years construction experience and has completed (or substantially completed) as a prime or general contractor at least two (2) contracts of comparable size, type and complexity to the work of this Contract. b. That the bidding entity's full-time Project Manager and full-time Superintendent each have a minimum of ten (10) years construction experience on contracts comparable in size, type and complexity to the work of this Contract. c. That the bidders proposed flood barrier assembly manufacturer(s) has five (5) years of successful experience in the design, manufacturing and testing of both folding and flexible membrane flood barrier assemblies and has successfully completed at least two (2) projects of similar types and materials as required by this Contract.
