Project consists of approximately 16,000 square feet, new two-story police station for the University City Division of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) and separate parking lots for both visitors and staff. Work consists of Type VB Fully Sprinkled Construction utilizing reinforced concrete walls insulating concrete forms, structural steel, CMU, steel joists and metal deck roof framing. The projet also includes a pre-engineered parking canopy, masonry site walls, a retaining walls, underground detention system, dumpster enclosure, geothermal system, and photovoltaic panels.
